Building some momentum?

Considering the seemingly endless steady stream of dismal news and dramatically reduced activity levels over the last 3 years, the Cleveland investment market could use some good news.  And it got just that in October.  The total sales volume was healthy, including a mix of small deals and larger deals, across a range of product types.  There were several ‘market’ investment sales, as opposed to the dearth of distressed sales that have dominated the local market as of late.  There were even a couple of institutional buyers active in the local marketplace – a buyer category that has been noticeably elusive since 2007.  The market seems to be gaining its footing since the middle of the year, so here is to hoping that we close out the year with a continuation of this trend.  To view the NAI Daus Investment Report for October 2011, click here.
